Matching Socks, My Ponynub and More Random Thoughts...

I'm a little late, but had a few random thoughts to add to the fun...

>>I hate washing whites. The white load has so many little things in it. Dishcloths, t-shirts and socks -- OMG! I HATE sorting through the socks. Do other people have this problem, or is it just me? My son and husband have a million white socks but in twenty different styles and it takes me freaking forever to match them all up! It reminds me of playing Match Card when I was a child - I never liked that game either! Do you think I'm exaggerating? Here's a picture of just a few of them... see the pile that I haven't even touched at the back of the photo? (Boy they still look dirty! I swear they are clean - I even used bleach!)


>>My hair is long enough that I can pull it back (tightly) and get it in a pony band. However, it's just long enough to get it there and the ponytail is only about 1/2" to 1" long. So it's really more of just a ponynub.

So, yesterday I was hot and I was working in the yard and in order to keep my hair out of my eyes I put it in my ponynub. DH comes home, takes one look at me and says, "Your hair is too short for a ponytail." DUH ~ That's why it's in a ponynub! Then he tells me I look like one of the Robert Palmer girls. Remember the Robert Palmer girls from the Simply Irrisistable and Addicted to Love videos? Well, they did look freaky, but if I remember correctly they had great bodies, so I could live with the exchange.


>>I find it so annoying when the receipt printer at the pay-at-the-pump is out of paper. Don't they know I'm way too lazy to have to walk in to the store to get the receipt??? Maybe they need a blaring alarm on the pumps so they get out there and add paper when they get low.

Not too much to talk about today. I'm about to fall asleep, so until next Tuesday's ramble...
