Bella Beauty - The New Cosmetic Line From Mia Bella (Scent Sations, Inc.)

Saturday the suspense was ended when Mia Bella (Scent Sations, Inc.) announced their new, and entirely different from their other products, line. It's called Bella Beauty and it's a Color Cosmetic (Mineral Makeup) line.

I'm extremely excited about the new makeup line because at one time I had considered buying mineral makeup in bulk wholesale, and reselling. I decided it would be a lot of hassle and I'd have to buy a ton of product to make it work and I wasn't exactly sure, without a catalog, how I'd market it.
Now, I have my makeup, with a catalog, that someone else made and packaged and now I can have home parties (hint, hint, mom!) or sell at flea markets or to friends, etc.

The line won't be released until May, but if you want a sneak preview you can take a peek HERE and see what we will have to offer.

This makeup will be made in the USA with FDA regulated ingredients, have high concentrations of natural minerals, renewable natural moisturizers (Including Soy Protein), vitamin E as an anti-oxidant / moisturizer , no animal derived ingredients , no animal testing, and will be gluten free! (Great for those with celiac disease!)
And, if you've been looking for a home business now is a great time to jump in! Whether you love candles or cosmetics, or just want to own a business for less than $50 a month, (with no quotas or start up fees) contact me for more info. There are multiple ways to run your business, fundraisers, retail sales, and building a team for residual income. I can offer to do whatever I can to help you, and you'll be amazed at the amount of sales training and support that we have.

Out Of Shape And Drinking Blue Moon - Random Tuesday Thoughts

randomtuesday

And once again, it's Tuesday which gives me full reign to ramble on about nothing at all!

I'm so sore -- and apparently out of shape! I worked with my son yesterday cutting grass and blowing (with a blower, not my mouth) for 5 hours yesterday and my shoulders and legs are killing me today. DH worries that it's turning me into a blue-collar worker who will come home with a six-pack of beer and start growing hair on my chest. Hmmm, I could get electrolysis if that happens I guess...

Speaking of beer, I found one I can drink without gagging. My friend says it's now just a matter of time till I like them all, but I find that hard to believe. I have to add orange wedges to this one to find it palatable (it's Blue Moon, btw) so I don't see me drinking a Bud anytime in the near future.

My son made sushi the other night. What he didn't know was that he didn't like sushi and ending up spitting it out. He made it because his friend loves it and found a video on 5 min life (Which btw is a really cool how-to site!) that showed step-by-step how to do it. Son thought it would be fun to help friend, not knowing what it tasted like. They did a great job and I ate a couple of them, though I'm really not that big a fan of the stuff myself. I thought it was especially cute when DS called and asked me how to cut an avocado. I haven't taught him much in the way of how to cook -- guess I better get on that. He's old enough to leave home and only knows how to make Ramen noodles and spaghetti. Bad mom!

I was going to tell you another story about my friend's young son throwing-up on my living room floor during a party I had last weekend... but DH says no one wants to hear such gross stories. So, I'll leave this one out.

I guess I'll stop here for now. I have more to tell, but I also have 5 loads of laundry that I need to do. So, the laundry is going to win out for now.

How's your week going? Feel free to ramble on about it by joining Random Tuesday Thoughts on The Un Mom Blog by Keely.

Four Guys On A RV And Beads

My DH had one of his biggest wishes fulfilled this past weekend. We camped at the Bristol NASCAR race. Up until we purchased a decent camper, I wasn't willing to camp. But hey, with heat and a good dry (King Size) bed, I'm willing to give just about anything a try.

If you're not a NASCAR lover imagine it like the tailgating you do at a football game, but on a grander scale. Some people stay just to themselves, go to the races, come back, eat and sleep... while others party all day and into the night. We enjoyed a good balance with a nice quite spot in a nice quite neighborhood to sleep in (with electric and our TV with rabbit ears, it wasn't really like camping - well, except for the Port-o-pottie and taking a shower in a stranger's shower - yes, they let us take a shower in their house!) and it was close enough to walk to the track and to visit other campsites and see what fun could be had.

These guys had, what they considered, the perfect setup. Their RV was right on the fence on the main street where everyone walked by on their way to and from the track. They threw beads at all the girls - and no, flashing them was not necessary. Although, if it was the summer race they might have had some takers, but at 55 degrees I'm not sure they had any. But they were having fun. Music was blaring, they had a few beers, which you can see they made art out of in the fencing, (see second pic) and they were having fun yelling at everyone that went by.

Here's our camping spot. Nice and quite in Mel and Rhonda's back yard. They were great hosts. Mel stayed back and kept an eye on everything during the day and Rhonda even made us coffee on Monday morning as we packed up. (Probably grateful the weekend was over!)

A beautiful sunny day at the track!

We walked about a half mile down the road one evening and found a band playing at one campsite... they were actually very good - especially for a free concert!

Love Randomness? Here You Go...

randomtuesday

It's Tuesday and time for another edition of Random Tuesday Thoughts. So, here we go...
I've been a very bad blogger! I've neglected most of my blogs this month. I've been doing a million other things. You know, renewing car tags, job interviews, a weekend at the Track, Anniversary parties, general errands, etc. etc. But never fear, I'm still around! I should be able to post more often in the next few weeks.

Now that I've confessed my guilt, here's what else is weighing on my mind...

I've become an official Biggest Loser addict! I'm now watching three seasons at once! Why you ask? Well, I just found out I liked the Biggest Loser at the end of last season. I watched the season finale and was so inspired by the contestants that I decided to watch it from the first episode this year. I've enjoyed it so much I searched for the reruns and found last season on The Fine Living Network, then I found Season 4 on the Style channel. So I'm recording it now too. And now I'm so confused! I keep mixing up the contestants from the three seasons. I guess it's good for my brain trying to keep them all straight, but I'm not doing very well.

I did accounting for so many years that I now hate it! I have a pile of receipts sitting here in front of me that I need to put into my check register and can't make myself do it... I'm going to regret that when I'm overdrawn!

I joined the grocery game and haven't taken advantage of it like I should be. I saved over $8 the first week I followed it, but I haven't had the time to sort through it in the past two weeks. I really need to this week!

We've decided on a date for my son's graduation party and each time I go to the store I've been picking up 2-liters. Actually, I have a room half-filled with cups, plates, and 2-liters. So, you're all welcome to stop by, I'll have no problem getting you a drink! Now to figure out the food, cake, decorations, and get him a laptop. I recently purchase a Toshiba, and so far so good. I'm still looking for a great deal though. I'm such a tight-wad! I'm waiting to get the deal of the century on a Dell, HP, or Sony Vaio, wish me well!

That's all for now. I have some funny stories from our weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway that involve beads, 4-guys on top a RV, and a camera lens that was way too big! You'll have to come back later in the week for them...

When You Gotta Go...

This struck me as funny, and since my sister is the world's biggest Jonas Brothers fan, I decided to post it for her! I hate port-o-potties, but I guess even the rich and famous have to lower themselves to using them from time to time! When you gotta go...

Very Last Country Song by Sugarland - Music Monday

This week I seem to be on a Sugarland kick. I've listened to their newest CD over and over and, of course, sang along as if I was in concert... but only in my Jeep.

This is one of my favorite songs from this album. It doesn't have a video per se, but someone was nice enough to make a slide show of the lyrics to go along with the music. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have this week. Oh, and Jennifer Nettles has an incredible voice!

Win Ecostore Natural Cream Cleanser & Lemongrass Soap

I'm holding a contest on my other blog, Happy, Healthy, Vibrant You!, for an Ecostore Cream Cleanser and a bar of their Lemongrass Soap. I was very happy with both, and they don't contain all those nasty chemicals that most household cleaners and beauty products that are one the market today are filled with. Instead, the Ecostore has designed eco friendly, plant-based, household cleaning products that are as effective as the leading supermarket brands.

The Ecostore line is now available at Meijer's. --But enter for your chance to win them free! Now you can feel confident when you clean your home, yourself, and your babies, without the worry of toxins.

My Son Got A Scholarship!

Having little kids is hard, but worrying about what your teen will do after high school is unbelievably stressful! My son isn't crazy about manual labor but we didn't want to have a ton of student loan debt. So we were pretty concerned about what he could do after high school. I've always encouraged him to do well in school, and rewarded him for his good grades. Well, it paid off - literally! We just found out that he was awarded a full scholarship for an in-state university! Woo Hoo!

Now, he can go to school, live at home and just need a small part-time job, to cover his car insurance and weekend expenses, and be debt free when he graduates!

We're so proud of him!

Amazing Calm In The Midst Of Terror

You've probably already heard this, but it brings tears to my eyes every time! How can someone remain so very calm amidst such a high pressure situation? It's a good thing I wasn't flying the plane. There would have been no, "We're going into the Hudson." There would have been screaming and crying instead!

The Bachelor - The Dumbest Man On The Planet?

I don't watch The Bachelor. I know, it's shocking, what with all the reality TV shows I do watch, you'd think this would be just one more. But I find it terribly stupid. Sorry to anyone who doesn't, but I just don't think true love can be found while you're dating 7 other people and are in front of a camera at all times.

Anyway, though I don't watch it, that's all I've heard about the past two days. I know that he picked Melissa and then six weeks later at the After The Rose Ceremony dumped her for Molly.

What The Heck? Does the man just have no brains in his head whatsoever? And why would this Molly be stupid enough to take him back?

Well, at least one man sees and understands the situation for what it is. Last night Jimmy Kimmel grilled interviewed Jason and said what we were all thinking!

Really? Really? He really thinks they will be friends some day? Dude, get a clue!

See for yourself, and tell me if he doesn't have a few screws missing...

Well, maybe he was able to get himself one of those nice Hublot watches with the money from the ring he returned. Stupid girl! Why wouldn't she have kept it? He broke it off! Pawn it! Buy yourself a Coach Purse! Give it to charity! Do ANYTHING, except give it back!!

Sorry. I'm done now!

My Top Three From Tonight's (Group 3) American Idol

Let me start by saying, I'm just not that impressed with anyone on Idol this year so far. Maybe I expect too much. I've liked some of the vocals, but there's not been a single performance that has just blown me away. If they have a good voice, they have no stage presence and vice versa, it seems.

I'll be honest, I didn't vote. I watched it later thanks to the incredible DVR invention. However, if I was going to vote, here is who my votes would have went to: (all girls!) Drum roll please... (and all promotional products, including the Rice-A-Roni, go to the 9 losers contestants that didn't get a vote.)

Trailer Park (Tater Tot) Casserole

Hubby loves casseroles, probably because his mom is the Casserole Queen. (great name for a blog, huh?) So being raised on them, he thinks they make the best dinners, and I won't argue since they are easy to make! A few months ago I was trying to figure out what to make for dinner and the tater tots in the freezer reminded me of this casserole that I hadn't made in years.

We started calling it Trailer Park Casserole due to an incident that happened to hubby at work. He was eating some of the leftover casserole and someone asked him what it was. He started saying some of the ingredients and thought how funny they sounded, then started laughing and said, "it's trailer park casserole!" When I asked him why, he said he could see Joy from My Name Is Earl making this, it's definitely something he'd imagine Donald Trump asking for!

Whatever, you want to call it, it's an easy, tasty dinner. One warning though, there's nothing low-fat or low-calorie about it. If you're dieting, forget it!

Ingredients
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 large onion diced
1 pkg tater tots (32 oz)
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
3/4 empty soup can of milk
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
salt
pepper
season salt
garlic salt

Brown ground beef and diced onions, adding salt, pepper, seasoning salt and garlic salt to taste. Drain.
Pour ground beef & onion mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 casserole dish.

On top of the ground beef layer spread the tater tots.
In a seperate bowl (or the pan you browned the beef in if you don't want to dirty any more dishes) mix together the soup and milk.
Pour the soup mixture over the tater tots, spreading it evenly, trying to cover them all.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the entire casserole.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake 10 more minutes until the casserole is bubbly and cheese is completely melted.

Another Post Of My Ramblings About This, That, Gound Beef Packaging and More

I'm tired tonight and so I almost didn't post, but instead I thought I'd just write down the random thoughts going through my head. I enjoyed Random Tuesday Thoughts so much, why not do it regularly? So, here we go.

Why can't they come up with a better way to package ground beef? We can go to the moon and stop smallpox, but I have bloody, beef juice on my counter from sitting a package of it on there before I put it away. Thank goodness for my EcoStore 'Green' Antibacterial Cleaner. (I'll be writing a review about it on my other blog next week and having a contest for some of their products.)

I saw the grossest thing I've ever seen today. I'm psychologically scarred forever! I turned down an row in a parking lot and there was a man in the middle of the aisle vomiting. OMG! I was sick to my stomach for the next three hours! I seriously have a phobia of vomit. Yes, stupid thing to be phobic about. My mom says it stems from the time when I was two and I got into my Grandmothers pain relievers and so my very young mother, instead of taking me to the hospital, forced me to vomit. I lived, thankfully, but now I have this phobia, which on a normal day doesn't effect my life at all. But on this day, it reared it's ugly head.

I went to a baby shower for a friend tonight at The Cheesecake Factory. The food and drinks were wonderful, but good grief, it was expensive! Their drinks are $10! The Strawberry Martini was heavenly, but one was all I allowed myself at that price. Seriously, I could buy an entire fifth for the price of two of their drinks, and since I'm without a job right now, I'd rather have a fifth.

I found a job with the perfect hours for me on Craigslist today. Three days a week, two from noon to 6:30 and one from 9 to noon. The phone number puts it close to my home too... but will they call me back? I've sent in quite a few resumes but I've only heard back from a couple - one of which I was overqualified for, or so they told me. I think I'd really like to work a few hours a week again. I didn't leave the house from Sunday until Thursday this week and um, well, that's like prison, just with the internet and a phone.

Are you familiar with the term work holding? I had never even seen it before tonight. It's not in Merriam Webster's online dictionary, but when you Google it you'll find it has something to do with machines that, literally, hold parts. I'm still not totally clear on it, but at least I learned something today.

I've got to go to sleep now. I hope my rambling hasn't turned you off. Is there anything you'd like to get off your chest? Go ahead, I'll be sure to respond.
